Energy efficiency class A+ Premium wood stove model 216 BOX with 8.97kW - Type 1 - lots of cast iron
The quality of our model 216-BOX is impressive across the board. The designs and functionality of these hearths are first-class.
This design highlight among kitchen stoves will thrill you with its appearance: the expressive, beautiful fire panorama captures the moment in a seductive way, as the state-of-the-art and safe combustion chamber technology and the integrated air wash system ensure a long-lasting, clear view of the dancing flames. An optimal energy yield is achieved through a separate primary and secondary air supply. With an efficiency of 84%, this timeless and elegant kitchen stove is one of the most efficient in its class! This saves wood, protects the environment, and reduces combustion residues.
Cooking / Roasting / Baking with a wood-burning stove
Cooking and heating at the same time - this challenge is solved in an elegant, practical, and rational way: thanks to a spacious, enameled baking compartment and the large cooking surface (cast iron), it is possible to cook or bake full meals independently of electricity or gas. Two oven racks and a baking tray are included in the scope of delivery. A rotisserie spit to hang in the baking compartment is also included. You can also add a smoky flavor via a small adjustable opening. You always have an eye on the optimal baking temperature thanks to the built-in oven thermometer.
Everything is possible: you can fry eggs on the stove top, cook stews, heat up a tea kettle, or simply warm up or keep mulled wine hot for a winter celebration. In the baking compartment, you can cook delicious casseroles and, for example, bake pizza, bread, or bread rolls.
This hearth meets the requirements for connection in Germany (BImSchV Level 2 and ECO-Design 2022 as well as the strict local standards in Regensburg, Stuttgart, and Munich, and 15A-BVG for Austria). A filter or other conversions are therefore not necessary.
The spacious combustion chamber is lined with solid fireclay bricks.
The equipment also includes a practical ash compartment for easy disposal of combustion residues. Its ash pan is beautifully large. A shaking grate makes it easy to move combustion residues into the ash pan.
The appliance has a heating-up damper. This flap makes it easier to light the fire as the flue gases can take a shorter path to the flue pipe connection. Once the fire is lit, the flap is closed and the flue gases are directed around the baking compartment. This also allows you to regulate the temperature in the baking compartment effectively.
In addition to functionality, emphasis was also placed on durability. The stove top is made of solid cast iron and features removable rings. This makes it ideal for different pot or pan sizes. By removing a ring in the stove top, you can cook directly over the flames. In today's crisis-prone times, it might not be a bad idea to have a "Plan B." This way, you are independent of oil, gas, or electricity!
Elegant stainless steel door handles and a chrome bar (towel rail) round off the brilliant appearance. (No simple hard plastic handles like those found on other manufacturers' products.)
The baking compartment and the 130 mm flue pipe connection are located at the top right. (It is only built as a right-hand version.)
The stove is Type 1 and therefore suitable for multiple connections to the chimney (other hearths on the same chimney flue are possible).
Pots and pans can be stored in its large drawer.
Deciding on the right heating appliance is the basic prerequisite for having a beautiful and cozy home. However, as the saying goes: "He who has the choice has the agony." With a brand-name stove from Caliskan, the search should be over, as it fulfills the requirements for construction, aesthetics, and design.
